Menus

Lists are useful. You don't have to think when you're packing if you have a list. Most of these lists were written specifically for university students, and hopefully include everything you'll need. If you see something missing from a list, or want a list that isn't here, send me a line and I'll try to fix it.

All the lists are on separate pages, and one glorious day, when I learn how, you will be able to download them in microsoft word format, if you want to add your own stuff or cut out items before printing them off. Hope they're useful to you.

Wet-dry recycling Those mysterious wet and dry stickers on garbage cans everywhere...this is the list put together by the city telling exactly what goes where. Especially good when you have a house since your own garbage can doesn't have those giant signs above it telling you the relative dampness of the piece of trash in your hand.

Basic grocery list Stuff you'll probably need to buy every week, with spaces to add extras. (Your eating credo might not match this list, so you might want to read it before you send someone else to do your shopping with this list.)

Car list Stuff to put in your car for when it breaks down like the piece of crap it is.

Travel list What you'll need to bring when you're planning on a trip.

Frosh clothing list In case you're a frosh and you need guidance on what clothes you'll need in the next six months of your life...didn't we learn about dressing ourselves a while ago?

Kitchen contents list Stocking your kitchen for the first time? Having a list to tear into several pieces and split among your housemates might prevent you from finding that you have four toasters but no microwave.

Yard and garage list Includes tools that you might need to dis-assemble your furniture when you can't fit it through the door of your house.

Miscellaneous list Things that you'll need, but don't really fit into any category definitely. You probably own most of them, but some of them are overlooked when packing because they're so basic that you don't even think about them.
