Guelph events Things that are happening in the city of Guelph. I make no guarantees as to the entertainment value of their programs, but you can look and see if there's anything that looks worthwhile happening in the near future. (How bored ARE you?)

Here's my list of stuff that you can do that's cheap or free. Don't judge them too harshly; remember, everything looks stupid and inane when you're bored.

·volunteer at the soup kitchen
·learn sign language/ braille (who knows when you'll poke out your eyes doing something dumb---learn now while you have eyeballs to make it easier)
·NO POSTAGE NEEDED if you write a letter to Paul Martin. Give it a try. I'm sure he'd care about what's going on in your life
·colour--how long's it been since you used a crayon? For its intended purpose, anyway?
·skip (or double dutch, if you have two ropes)
·play frisbee
·feed the squirrels your lunch

·invent a new sport
·form an opinion
·bet with change on what colour the next car passing your house will be
·clean out your fridge
·walk or ride the bus to somewhere you've never been before

·have wind-up toy races

·change the water in your fish tank

·make paper snowflakes and hang them from your ceiling

·find a hallway and see how high you can climb up the walls. Practice makes perfect--one day you'll be able to reach the ceiling and walk down the hallway about 3 feet above the ground. Won't that be glorious?

·put your arm in a sling and walk around campus until someone pays attention to you
